Ben Logan

Cashiers, North Carolina

A lifelong resident of Cashiers, Ben Logan brings a depth of understanding to every home he builds that can only come from growing up here. He knows how the mountains weather, how they shift through seasons, and what it takes to build something that holds up against all of it.

After earning his unlimited general contractor's license in 2002, Ben founded Logan Custom Homes with a singular purpose: to build residences that reflect the natural beauty and timeless character of the Highlands-Cashiers plateau. Over more than two decades, that purpose has not changed.

Ben's hands-on leadership means he is present on every project, not as a supervisor, but as a builder. He notices what a less experienced eye would miss, and he holds his work to the standard of someone who will see it standing in these mountains for the rest of his life.

"At Logan Custom Homes, we believe that building a home is a deeply personal experience, one that should be defined by collaboration, craftsmanship, and trust. From the first conversation to the final finishing touch, we work closely with each client to create a residence that is both architecturally distinctive and effortlessly livable."

What we stand for

01

Craftsmanship

We do not build homes that will need to be fixed in five years. Every material is selected for longevity. Every joint, every finish, every system is executed by people who care about the outcome.

02

Integrity

We tell clients the truth: about timelines, about costs, about what a design will and will not do. There are no surprises at Logan Custom Homes. That reputation has been earned one project at a time.

03

Place

These mountains have a character of their own. We build homes that respond to their site, that settle into the landscape rather than impose upon it. A Logan home belongs where it stands.

04

Continuity

Our crews have worked together for years. Our relationships with architects, designers, and craftsmen run deep. That continuity is what makes the difference between a job site and a build you can count on.

05

Restraint

We take on a limited number of projects each year. That is not a constraint. It is a commitment. Every client deserves the full weight of our attention, and we will not compromise that.

06

Relationship

The homes we build outlast the contracts we sign. We remain available to the families we build for, years later, long after move-in day. Many of our closest relationships began with a conversation about a build.

Where We Build

For over twenty years, Logan Custom Homes has built throughout the private communities of the Highlands-Cashiers plateau, and on the ridgelines and family land beyond their gates. Each place has its own character, and each Logan home is built to honor it.

Let's build something
that belongs here.
